esperanto project

Work Packages

ESPERANTO programme is developed through 6 Work Packages (WP).

The 3 objectives of the research project are implemented through dedicated WPs (WP1-WP3).

WP4-WP6 are respectively dedicated to Dissemination and exploitation, Communication and outreach, Management.

WORKPACKAGE #1

Greener and safer chemicals and innovative processes in photopoly-merisation

WORKPACKAGE #2

New sustainable materials and prototypes based on photoproces-ses and their modelling

WORKPACKAGE #3

Training

WP1-WP3 integrate 12 individual projects: 10 are conducted by researchers funded by EU and enrolled in the doctoral programme of the beneficiaries; 2 are conducted by researchers funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), and employed by the Swiss academic associated partner EPFL (researcher 11 and 12); 1 is conducted by researchers funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and employed by the British academic associated partner Imperial (researcher 13).

Each individual project benefits from results and knowledge generated in the other projects, thanks to interactions and exchanges among researchers (in particular, regular meetings and secondments).

Interactions among individual projects are foreseen, promoting collaborations among researchers. Main lines for building synergies are: sharing among researchers of WP1 and WP2 of best practices regarding raw materials choice, characterisation protocols and photopolymerization processes; feedback from researchers of WP2 to researchers of WP1 on design requirements for the successful use of the new precursors and photoinitiators in applications; exchange of newly developed chemicals and materials among researchers, depending on timing and availability, to test them in applications; sharing of experimental results with researcher 10 contributing to validation of the models developed.
